§ 2-1-101 Operation of a Motor Vehicle on a Public Road with Expired or No Insurance
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle within this state unless the vehicle covered by
insurance.
Violating this subsection is a $500 Fine and an immediate surrender of the offenders vehicle.
