§ 2-3-201 Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device or Sign
Any person that operates a motor vehicle on the roadways of this state shall obey any traffic control device, roadway lines, sign, or person with the authority to direct or control traffic. This includes any;
(a) parking signage or lines;
(b) roadway, signage, markers or lines;
(c) highway or roadway construction personnel;
(d) a law enforcement officer, firefighter, or paramedic;
(e) stop signs; or
(f) traffic signal lights.
Violating this subsection is a $200 fine.
